direct and uncomplicated, anything superfluous was left behind.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp data-mce-fragment=\"1\"\u003eBy March 2018 the group had recorded the six-track debut EP\u003cspan data-mce-fragment=\"1\"\u003e \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cem data-mce-fragment=\"1\"\u003eSweet Princess\u003c\/em\u003e\u003cspan data-mce-fragment=\"1\"\u003e \u003c\/span\u003ewith producer Kristian Craig Robinson at Total Refreshment Centre in a single day.  Two months later, in May 2018, the band played their first live show in Dalston at the Shacklewell Arms, and released the EP in August.  \u003cem data-mce-fragment=\"1\"\u003eSweet Princess\u003c\/em\u003e\u003cspan data-mce-fragment=\"1\"\u003e \u003c\/span\u003ewas a thrilling debut, its dizzying and restless instrumentals with Shaw’s sardonic vocals delivering a satirical collage of witty observations and social commentary.  A further six songs in the form of the\u003cspan data-mce-fragment=\"1\"\u003e \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cem data-mce-fragment=\"1\"\u003eBoundary Road Snacks\u003c\/em\u003e\u003cem data-mce-fragment=\"1\"\u003e\u003cspan data-mce-fragment=\"1\"\u003e \u003c\/span\u003eand Drinks\u003c\/em\u003e\u003cspan data-mce-fragment=\"1\"\u003e \u003c\/span\u003eEP quickly followed two months after.  It was named in tribute to the band’s rehearsal space in Maynard’s family’s south London (Sidcup) home, and to his mother Susan whose home-cooked meals sustained the four friends in between sessions.  With singles like 'Sit Down Meal' and 'Viking Hair', \u003cem data-mce-fragment=\"1\"\u003eBoundary Road Snacks and Drinks\u003c\/em\u003e\u003cspan data-mce-fragment=\"1\"\u003e \u003c\/span\u003eis a powerful companion to\u003cspan data-mce-fragment=\"1\"\u003e \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cem data-mce-fragment=\"1\"\u003eSweet Princess\u003c\/em\u003e.  They share a similar pent-up energy, unsurprising given they came to life in the same environment those EPs were created in, an environment that had a huge influence on the band during those formative years.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003c\/div\u003e\n\u003cdiv data-mce-fragment=\"1\" id=\"release_tracklistings\" class=\"fullpage_element\"\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/div\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e","brand":"Encore Records Ltd","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":58217775104383,"sku":"make room box","price":14.0,"currency_code":"GBP","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0976\/0525\/5551\/files\/65a6acc79f08d_45fcf43c-1272-489e-9da4-b30edb70065d.jpg?v=1787206891","url":"https:\/\/thevinyltable.com\/products\/lp-dry-cleaning-the-collective","provider":"My Store","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
